About the Blog

This blog was born from my own frustration of having no blog aimed towards college students and young professionals. We do not have a lot of time or money to cook healthy meals, so we need to be creative to make it work. I have enjoyed learning new recipes throughout the past year or so, but I find myself stuck to only cooking on the weekends or the odd weekday because I'm so busy during the school week!
I recently began my journey into the food blog world and realized that there were lots of tips for working Moms, stay-at-home Moms, and others cooking for a whole family. But, sometimes these tips are hard to adapt to a non-regular schedule like those of us college students. So, I decided to take the initiative and start my own college cooking blog.

I'm not claiming to be any sort of expert on cooking during college. I am using this blog as a way to chronicle my own journey through learning how to cook meals that are healthy, cost-efficient, and time-efficient. This is my research project, and you just have to enjoy my findings! You will be joining me on this adventure, and to entertain you throughout the time I will be sharing my successes and my failures. I will be honest about my flops and truthful about my triumphs.

Along the way I would appreciate your comments to know that I'm helping someone out there!

Eat well and live well! Bon appétit!
